Inquire about enlarging any of Kirk McGuire's artworks for large-scale installations. Flying fish fascinate me, much like many other creatures of the ocean! The flying fish is the national emblem of Barbados, yet they are found in oceans worldwide. These fish can execute powerful self-propelled leaps from the water into the air, gliding for significant distances thanks to their long, wing-like fins. Between 1900 and the 1930s, researchers examined flying fish as potential models for aircraft design. I find them incredibly interesting! This is another of my 'freestanding' sculptures and can be displayed almost anywhere!
